I had written on my orkut profile “vote for da change”
the reply I got from a friend of mine was “kheda change?” .. meaning “what (kind) change?”
I guess this attitude towards election is synonymous in youths today. We dont like whats happening around us, we dont think much will change and hence we dont contribute to any change but then we complain about it to persons who cannot do much about it.
True not one individual can change the world and it is also true we would n't for sure know if he / she can until we try.
But that was more philosophically speaking but practically speaking we can do one thing that would be the easiest thing for us to do but would play a critical part for change is To Cast Our Vote.
If you feel that none of them deserve your vote then please go ahead and get your vote discarded so that nobody gets to use that vote. If all of us take this small step then maybe the change would be nearer than we expect.
The election turn out this year as compared to previous years in most states was lower.
That is really a worrying issue as we with the biggest youth power in the world are not using our democratic right then the future for sure will be gloomy and then we would really not have anyone to blame.
We called for it !!
So please Vote for Change..
